Who handles OSSF permits in Tarrant County
Tarrant County regulates OSSF permitting and inspections in unincorporated areas and 23 contract cities. The county FAQ identifies other authorities in certain areas, including Arlington, Burleson, Fort Worth, and specified areas near Eagle Mountain Lake and Lake Worth. Before you install or alter a system
Confirm jurisdiction, arrange the required site evaluation and design, and submit the appropriate application before construction. Tarrant County provides separate residential and nonresidential applications. For a new aerobic system, the county also requires a notarized OSSF affidavit filed with the County Clerk.
